Adaptix have just won an STFC Bridging for Innovators (B4i) grant worth over £40,000 for work with the prestigious Ultra High Vacuum Group at STFC Daresbury – to develop cleaning processes for the manufacture of Adaptix’s patented Flat Panel X-ray Source.

Bridging for Innovators (B4I) is an Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) programme run by STFC to support UK industry to boost productivity

B4I offers businesses unique access to a suite of high-tech scientific facilities and knowledge to fast-track solutions to industrial challenges.

From start-ups to large corporates, B4I helps companies to overcome product, manufacturing or process performance issues by leveraging government investment in world-leading science facilities. Working closely with STFC research and innovation experts, companies can develop projects that address specific innovation challenges to accelerate business productivity.
